Trim your wick. This will ensure your wick burns evenly, and your flame does not get too big.
When lighting your wick for the first time, you want to allow your candle to burn until the wax melts a thin layer across the entire surface of the candle vessel. This is known as the wax pool and may take 2 - 4 hours to achieve. This will ensure you get an even burn each time you re-light your candle.
Extinguish the flame once you have reached your wax pool or you can continue burning your candle for a maximum of 4 hours.
Never burn a candle for longer than 4 hours at a time. After 4 hours, let your candle cool, trim the wick and relight.
Keep the lid on your candle, in-between burns, to prevent dust from settling on your candle.
Never leave your candle unattended. If you need to leave your room, extinguish the flame.
You should not place your candle directly on a table or any other surface that may be subject to damage. Always place your candle on an appropriate tray.
Keep pets and children away from candles.
Do not add other fragrance oils or any other items to candles.
Do not eat candles. They might look good, but they are not edible.
Do not give candles to others to eat, even as a joke.
Do not touch hot wax with any part of your body or anyone else’s. This is not the kind of wax used for removing hair or anything other than for candles. Yeah, it's weird I must to put that in here, but we all know someone that might try it.
